Edward James Olmos is expected to make an appearance in the documentary Sushi and Sauce Piquante by award-winning documentarian Pat Mire.
In Sushi and Sauce Piquante, Mire tells the story of Eunice, LA, native Gerry McGee, a guitar virtuoso who played with the likes of Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, The Monkees, Nancy Sinatra, and Booker T and the MGs. McGee joined the popular instrumental rock band The Ventures in the late 1960s and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.
The documentary also features Kris Kristofferson, Dr. John, James Burton and Bonnie Bramlett -- artists McGee worked with over the years.
