Edward James Olmos is set to host another fundraiser for The Rhythmic Arts Project. The event is set for Sept. 28 at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Founded in 1997, The Rhythmic Arts Project (TRAP) is an "educational program for people with disabilities" that "integrates drums and percussion instruments as creative learning tools that address life skills and enhance the mind, body, and spirit.
Currently, the group is hosting a "crowdfunding" campaign as part of the fundraising efforts. According to TRAP's Traci Collins, the "perks" of the campaign include Bob Masse event posters signed by Mr. Olmos, tickets for the concert, and a VIP package.
Details of the VIP Package: "You and a friend will spend the day with us at the theatre in Santa Barbara, Ca., attend soundcheck, dine backstage with EJO, the band and crew, watch the concert from your front row seats, join us at the after show VIP party for a meet and greet with the players, shop at our exclusive Rock & Roll Auction and enjoy drinks and hors d' ouevres. Photos with EJO and event musicians, limited edition event poster and t shirt are also included." (Transportation is not included)
