The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library launched a new film series this month in Huntsville, Alabama.

The series, entitled "Future Imperfect: Dystopian Films in Hollywood," will feature a special screening of Blade Runner on March 4 at the library, located at 915 Monroe St. near downtown Huntsville.

The full schedule for the series:

  • Jan. 28 - On The Beach (1959), starring Gregory Peck and Ava Gardner
  • Feb. 4 - Fahrenheit 451 (1966), starring Oskar Werner and Julie Christie
  • Feb. 11 - Soylent Green (1973), starring Charlton Heston and Edward G. Robinson
  • Feb. 25 - Rollerball (1975), starring James Caan
  • March 4 - Blade Runner (1982), starring Harrison Ford, Sean Young, Rutger Hauer and Mr. Olmos
  • March 11 - Hunger Games (2012), starring Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson
