The feature-length documentary "Sushi and Sauce Piquante" by Pat Mire will play the 2013 Cinema on the Bayou, a five-day film festival in Lafayette, LA.

The festival kicks off Jan. 23 with a 6:30 p.m. screening of "Sushi and Sauce Piquante," which "focuses on the life and times of legendary guitarist and Eunice native Gerry McGee."

In addition to Mr. Olmos, other entertainers making appearances in the documentary were Kris Kristofferson and The Monkees. It was filmed in the U.S. and Japan

The screening of the documentary will be held at the Acadiana Center for the Arts, 101 W. Vermilion St. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the box office or the arts center's official website.

The festival includes a line-up of around 25 films.
