My Take

Edward James Olmos and Sean Young in Mirage

Mirage is an thriller with a strong erotic undertone.

Sean Young still remains an actress of questionable range in my opinion, but Mr. Olmos delivers one of his trademark magnetic performances. I really empathized with his emotionally wounded character.

Mirage is not quite the film it should be, but it's not bad either. At least, I enjoyed it despite having to watch it on VHS – I was surprised the VCR still works!
