Edward James Olmos recently joined fellow Battlestar Galactica notables Ron Moore and James Callis to film an episode of Portlandia.
Portlandia is a sketch-comedy series on the IFC (Independent Film Channel). It is set and filmed in Portland, Oregon, and stars Saturday Night Live alumnae Fred Armisen, and Carrie Brownstein. SNL‘s Lorne Michaels serves as executive producer.
The show’s first season featured six episodes, which began airing in January of this year. The episode featuring Mr. Olmos is part of the second season; no air dates scheduled as of yet.
Past guest stars of Portlandia include Selma Blair, Steve Buscemi, Aimee Mann, Sarah McLachlan, Heather Graham, Gus Van Sant, and Kyle MacLachlan.
