Edward James Olmos will co-host a special event benefitting The Rhythmic Arts Project (TRAP) on Friday, February 17.

The event, which is also hosted by John Densmore of The Doors fame, will be held at 8 p.m. at the Lobero Theatre (Santa Barbara) and will feature a rhythmic blessing by Airto Moreira and TRAP student Dion Cornejo, as well as concert performances by legendary guitarist Robben Ford and the Grammy-winning The Yellowjackets.

According to their website, TRAP "educates individuals with intellectual and developmental differences by embracing a curriculum that encompasses rhythm as a modality to address basic life and learning skills as well as reading, writing and arithmetic."
