Last week, the Los Angeles Times reported that Edward James Olmos will appear at an October 3 anti-Proposition 32 concert featuring the legendary musical and political activist group Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morrello. The concert, which will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, aims to raise awareness about the measure and funds to help defeat it at the polls in November.
According to the Times, the ballot initiative is also opposed by “the League of Women Voters, the California Alliance for Retired Americans, and a consortium of teachers, firefighters, nurses, and other members of organized labor.”
