Edward James Olmos did a bit of everything at Houston's Comicpalooza.
He signed autographs and posed for pictures. He announced a new superhero movie project with him as the star (see Related Post). He did interviews for news outlets. He answered fans' questions on everything from Battlestar Galactica to Stand and Deliver to Blade Runner and talked passionately about scientific matters that interest him. He even took the time to shake hands with every member of the audience who arrived early for his Sunday Battlestar Galactica Q&A panel (pictured above).
Between all those things, he also managed to slip in a round of laser tag.
That's right. Laser tag.
Sunday, after finishing a photo session, the celebrated actor and activist strapped on the sensors, picked up his laser rifle and went to work with his team, which included his son Michael. They emerged victorious in the battle of BSG vs. Stormtroopers.
