If there was ever an actor about whom that was true, it would have to be Edward James Olmos. The quotes above are a testament to that and his lifelong dedication to giving and social and community activism. It's also why this site exists.

It might sound silly to some, but being a fan of and meeting Edward James Olmos has changed my life. He has inspired me to be a better citizen of the world and to the people around me. We could all learn a lesson or two from his example of living the life he encourages others to pursue.
Of course, he is an amazing actor as well and I'm lucky to have been a fan for decades (Zoot Suit, Blade Runner). Some, however, are just discovering him through his epic portrayal of Admiral William Adama in the Ronald D. Moore reboot of Battlestar Galactica. If you're here to find out more about his acting career, you'll find plenty of information but hopefully you'll take a look at the other things Mr. Olmos does and come away inspired in new ways.
Oh and unlike the web address of this site might suggest, I'm by no means asserting that Mr. Olmos is perfect – and he would surely scoff at the notion – but he is an extraordinary human being who strives to live up to his ideals, which makes him, in my estimation, Olmos Perfect.
